Sometimes you just need a break. You often don’t even know that you need one because you haven’t stopped long enough to think about it. Work has been crazy busy the last month or more, combined with sick kids and medical appointments, there’s barely any time to catch a breath even with splitting the load with Nick. So when work asked me to come to Darwin to face to face a big project I jumped at the chance. A ‘work holiday’ as Lulu calls them and boy was it a holiday. The wonderful Mantra Pandanas upgraded my room for free to a one bedroom -winning! I watched endless hours of tv each night, uninterrupted. Had time to go for a run each morning before work. I slept though the night. AMAZING. Nick is heading away on a holiday holiday this coming weekend so he’ll get a chance to have a break too. We all need it sometimes. Take a break. Your future self will thank you.
