Splash: Day 1

I travelled all the way from Alice Springs to Byron Bay for Splash, so I thought I better sign up for all of the workshops, rather than just picking two or three that fitted with my interests. While this could have gone wrong, ending up in me being way over my head, I was pleasantly surprised to find that I thoroughly enjoyed each one. Some more than others of course, but each one had it's highlights.

Here is a little peak into Day 1, beginning with Calligraphy presented by Sabine Pick

Calligraphy has never been an interest of mine, but I was so surprised to find that I could actually do it. The top left photo is a little bit of my work!

Next up was colour theory with Sibella Court. Sibella showed up how to choose a colour pallet from a few of our favourite objects.

Last class of the day was the Art of Art Clusters with The March Collective. This workshop focused on practical tips for arranging clusters of art in your home or business. These girls were fabulous, so warm and lovely. It was my favourite class of the day.

Tune in Thursday for highlights from Day 2
